How to Export Risk of Bias Results from Rayyan

The Risk of Bias export is separate from your reference export and Data Extraction export. It generates a CSV file with one row per article. The download link is sent to your email and posted in Review Chat. 

Important Resolve all unmatched answers before exporting. An export with unresolved assessments will contain inconsistent results across collaborators, which complicates synthesis.

How to export

  1. Go to the Risk of Bias tab.
  2. Click Export in the toolbar.
  3. The file is generated and the download link is sent to your email and posted in Review Chat.

What the export file contains

The CSV contains standard reference metadata columns plus one column per RoB form, named using the format [ID]-[form name] — for example, 127404-RoB 2 (Randomized trials).

Each cell contains all collaborators' assessments stacked, one per line. Each assessment includes the overall judgment (Low risk, Some concerns, High risk) and the individual signaling question answers (Q1.1, Q1.2, etc.). If collaborators have unmatched answers, both judgments appear in the same cell — one per line.
