How to Generate a Screening Report in Rayyan

Before you begin The Screening Report is available on Essential, Advanced, and all institutional plans. It is accessible to Collaborators only — Reviewers and Viewers cannot generate it. If you want the report to include all team members' decisions, make sure Blind Mode is off before generating.

The Screening Report is a structured CSV download of your review's screening progress and decisions. It includes each member's decision on every article, along with any labels and notes applied. It is useful for documenting your screening process, sharing progress with stakeholders, or auditing team decisions.

How to generate the Screening Report

1. Go to the Screening stage of your review.
2. Open the Review Settings panel using the ··· icon in the top bar.
3. Click Generate Screening report.
4. Review the confirmation screen — it explains what will be included based on your current Blind Mode status.
5. Click Generate to produce the file. The download link is sent to your email and posted in Review Chat.

How Blind Mode affects the report

The report is affected by Blind Mode at the time of generation:

• Blind Mode on — the report only includes the generating collaborator's own decisions, labels, and notes.
• Blind Mode off — the report includes all team members' decisions, labels, and notes.
