ResearchPilot™ is Rayyan's AI-powered suite that supports your review workflow from start to finish — answering questions about Rayyan, helping you explore your dataset, screening articles against your criteria, and extracting structured data from full-text PDFs. It works alongside you, not instead of you. You remain the final decision-maker at every stage.
Access ResearchPilot™ by clicking the Chat with ResearchPilot™ tab on the left side of your review. It is available from the Review data, Screening, and Full text screening stages.
The five modes
ResearchPilot™ has five modes, each designed for a specific stage and purpose:

ResearchPilot™ and your judgment
ResearchPilot™ is a decision-support tool — it suggests, explains, and highlights, but never overrides your decisions. Every AI suggestion can be accepted, deleted, or ignored. Always validate AI-generated results before exporting or treating them as final.
