Deactivating Your Account
Account deactivation disables your access but does not permanently remove your data.
Before You Request Deactivation
Premium users: Cancel your premium subscription first.
The request must be submitted from within your Rayyan account.
How to Request Deactivation
Submit a support ticket from your Rayyan account.
Include a short reason for the deactivation.
Once deactivated:
You will no longer be able to access your account.
You will stop receiving Rayyan emails and newsletters.
Your data remains stored (not deleted).

Deleting Your Account (Permanent)
Account deletion permanently removes your Rayyan account and personal data.
Requirements Before Deletion
Your account must not be linked to any active or archived reviews.
You must delete all reviews you own.
If you are a collaborator on reviews owned by others, the review owner must remove your access and data.
Any active subscriptions must be canceled (Web, App Store, or Google Play).
How to Delete Your Reviews
Delete Active Reviews
Go to the Home page by clicking the Rayyan icon.
From the Active Reviews section, open the review you want to delete.
Click the (⋯) menu to open the review settings.
Select Delete Review from the dropdown menu.
When prompted, confirm Permanently Delete.
Delete Archived Reviews
Archived reviews must be restored before they can be deleted.
In the Archived Reviews section, click Restore next to the review title.
Once restored, follow the steps above to permanently delete the review.
Important Notes
Repeat these steps for all reviews, including archived ones.
Only the review owner can delete review content.
If you are a collaborator/reviewer and not the owner, your account cannot be deleted until the owner removes your data.
Subscriptions purchased via Google Play or App Store must be canceled through those platforms.
Submitting Your Deletion Request
Once all requirements are met:
Submit a support request from within your Rayyan account.
Include a reason for the deletion request.
Our team will process your request.
You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been permanently deleted.
