This article covers how to edit your review information, archive a review when it is complete, and delete a review when you no longer need it. You must be the review owner to make these changes.
Edit your review details
You can update your review title, type, domain, and description at any time.
- Open your review and go to the Overview page
- Click Edit info in the top-right area
- Update the fields you want to change
- Click Edit Review Info to save
Common issue Navigating away before clicking Edit Review Info will discard your changes. Always confirm before closing the edit panel.
Archive a review instead of deleting it
In most cases, archiving is the better option. An archived review is stored for future reference and no longer counts toward your active review limit.
- Go to the left-side panel and find the review you want to archive
- Click the three-dot menu next to the review title
- Choose Archive Review
Note Archiving a review frees up a slot in your active review limit without losing any data. You can unarchive it at any time.
Delete a review only when necessary
If you no longer need a review and do not want to keep it archived, you can delete it permanently.
- Go to the left-side panel and find the review you want to delete
- Click the three-dot menu next to the review title
- Choose Delete Review
Important Deleting a review is permanent. All references, decisions, labels, and extracted data are removed and cannot be recovered except through support within the retention period. In most cases, archiving is the better choice.
If a review was deleted by mistake
If your review was deleted by mistake, contact Rayyan Support as soon as possible.
Important Deleted review recovery is available on Advanced and higher plans only, and only within 30 days of deletion. After 30 days, the review cannot be recovered regardless of your plan.
