How to Invite/Add Members for my Systematic Review in Rayyan?

Rayyan allows researchers to collaborate around the globe on systematic reviews. It takes about 30 seconds to add a new reviewer (for free) to your review. In this article we will walk you through the two methods you can use to invite members to your review.

Invite Members During Review Creation

1. Sign in to your Rayyan account
2. Create a new review
3. Upload your references
4. Select a role from the dropdown menu (Collaborator, Reviewer, or Viewer) To learn more about each role please refer to this article.
5. List the emails of the members, separated by commas

6. Add a reason/message in the Reason/Message box.

7. Click Invite

Invite Collaborators Within an Ongoing Review

1. Sign in to your Rayyan account
2. Navigate to the review you would like to invite collaborators to.
3. Within the Overview page, click on Invite Members
4. Invite your members following the previous steps.

To Delete/Revoke or Change a Member's Role

1. On the Overview page, go to the Review Members section.

2. Under the role column, click the member's role to reveal a dropdown menu.

3. Select from roles (Collaborator, Reviewer, or Viewer).

4. Use the (...) next to the member for a dropdown menu (Revoke or Delete Member).

5. To revoke access and remove contributions, click Delete Member.

6. To revoke access without removing contributions, click Revoke Member. Note that this option is only available for Student, Professional, Teams and Enterprise members. 

7. Once a collaborator's access is revoked, you can restore their access by clicking on Restore Member, or delete their contributions from view by clicking on Delete Member.
