Rayyan offers three convenient methods for importing your research materials. Whether you’re starting a new review, adding new references to an ongoing review, or working with an empty review, uploading references is easy. Here’s a step-by-step guide for each method, designed to help you manage your systematic review screening more efficiently.
Importing References/Articles When Creating a New Review
Step 1: Log in to Your Rayyan Account
Log in to your Rayyan account or sign up if you don’t have an account yet.
Step 2: Create a New Review
Click on the Create New Review button in the left-side menu.
Step 3: Enter Review Details
Provide necessary details for your review, including the review title, type, and description, then click Create New Review.
Step 4: Upload References
Once the review is created, you’ll be redirected to the next step to upload references. Click on Upload, choose the file(s) you wish to upload, and click Next. (Ensure the references are in a format accepted by Rayyan as outlined in this article).
Note:
Rayyan allows importing up to 10 files at a time, with a size limit of 100MB per file, enabling up to 1GB of data to be imported simultaneously! Files can be compressed into ZIP files and even nested (ZIP files inside other ZIP files).
