There are two ways to create a Rayyan account — signing up directly, or through an invitation from a colleague. Both paths require email confirmation before you can access your account.
Sign up directly
- Go to www.rayyan.com and click Start for Free
- Choose your sign-up method: Google account, Apple account, or email address
- If signing up with email, select your country, complete the CAPTCHA, and click Create Account
- Check your inbox for a confirmation email from Rayyan and click the link inside
- Enter your first name, last name, and a password to complete setup
Best practice Choose the sign-up method you are most likely to use consistently. Switching methods later may require additional steps to regain access to your account.
Common issue If the confirmation email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can also request a new confirmation link here.
If you were invited to a review
If a colleague invited you to collaborate on a review, Rayyan sends you an invitation email and creates an account for you automatically.
- Open the invitation email from Rayyan and click the link inside
- You will be prompted to confirm your email address and complete your account setup
- Enter your name and create a password
- Once setup is complete, you will have access to the review you were invited to
Note You cannot access the review until your account is confirmed and your profile is set up. If you did not receive the invitation email, ask the review owner to resend it and check your spam folder.
3. Complete your profile
After confirming your email — whether you signed up directly or through an invitation — you will be redirected to the Account Details page. Fill in your profile information and click Save.
By confirming your email, you agree to Rayyan’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
