This article covers how to update your login email, change your password, and recover access to your Rayyan account.
Change your login email
If your account is linked to an active subscription, you won't be able to change your login email from your account settings. In that case, contact Rayyan Support and the team will assist you.
- Sign in using your current email and password
- Click the account icon in the top-right corner and open your account settings
- Enter your new email address
- Click Save
Rayyan will send a confirmation email to your new address. Your login email is not updated until the new address is confirmed.
Change your password
- Sign in to Rayyan and open your account settings
- Enter your new password and confirm it
- Enter your current password to authorize the change
- Click Save
Reset a forgotten password
Use these steps if you forgot your Rayyan password, or if you signed up through Google, Apple, or Microsoft and want to add a Rayyan password to your account.
- Go to the Rayyan sign-in page and click Reset your password
- Enter the email address linked to your account
- Click the reset link in the email and create your new password
If you lost access to your email address
If you can still sign in to Rayyan
Change your login email from your account settings following the steps in section 1 above.
If you cannot sign in
Contact Rayyan Support. You will be asked to verify ownership of the account — for example, by providing details about your reviews or previously received emails from Rayyan. Once ownership is confirmed, your reviews can be transferred to a new account you control.
