Rayyan’s multi-select feature makes it easy to manage multiple references at once—whether you’re assigning decisions, applying labels, or uploading full-text PDFs. Here's how to use it:
📝 Bulk Actions on References
1. Select References
Use the checkbox next to each reference title to select items one by one. To select all references on the page at once, use the checkbox next to the Filter by Inclusion facet at the top.
Note: Selecting all references at once is a premium feature. Consider upgrading to a paid membership to unlock this and other advanced tools.
2. Apply Labels or Reasons
Once you’ve selected your references, click Label to assign one or more labels. You can also assign exclusion reasons the same way using the Reason button.
3. Make Screening Decisions
On the Screening page, you can use multi-select to apply decisions like Include, Exclude, or Maybe in bulk. It’s a great way to speed through your list while staying organized.
📄 Bulk Management for Full-Text PDFs
1. Select Articles for Upload
Go to the Full Text Screening stage. Use the checkboxes to select the articles you want to upload PDFs for.
2. Upload PDFs
Click the Upload Full Text button to start your upload. You can upload multiple PDFs at once.
3. Match PDFs to References
After uploading, match each PDF to the correct reference to ensure everything lines up. This step is important to make sure your documents are properly assigned.
