Scenario 1: You don't have a Rayyan account yet
If someone invited you to a review using your email, but you’ve never used Rayyan before, you’ll need to set up your account first before you can access the review.
Here’s what to do:
- Check your inbox for the invitation email.
- In the email, you’ll see that Rayyan has automatically created an account for you.
- Click the “Confirm account” link in the email.
- You’ll be asked to set a password and confirm your email.
- Once you confirm your email and set a password, you’ll be able to access the review.
📌 Important: You must complete the account setup using the same email the invite was sent to.
Scenario 2: You already have a Rayyan account, but with a different email
If you already use Rayyan, but someone invited you using a different email address you own, the review won’t appear in your account. That’s because invitations are tied to the exact email used.
👉 In this case, you have two options:
- Ask the review owner to resend the invite to the email you use on Rayyan.
- Or, log into Rayyan using the email the invite was originally sent to (and set up an account if needed).
💡Pro tip: Always let your collaborators know which email you use for Rayyan to avoid mix-ups.
