Blinding helps minimize bias during the screening process by hiding other collaborators’ decisions, labels, and notes. This is especially useful in the early stages of screening.
✅ Turning Blinding ON or OFF
-
Open the review where you want to change the blinding setting.
-
On the Screening page, look for the toggle at the top that says Blind On or Blind Off.
-
Click it to switch between Blinded and Unblinded mode.
Note: Only the Review Owner or a Team Admin can change the blinding status.
📌 Why does this matter?
Blinding is ideal during initial screening to avoid influence among reviewers. However, in collaborative reviews, especially when editing labels or exclusion reasons, you’ll need to turn Blinding Off to see and manage all tags used by team members.
