Removal of reasons in drop down menu

How do I remove reasons options from the reasons drop down menu?

There is a free box to add new reasons, but I don't see an option to remove them

Examples:

New user added a reason that had a typo then corrected it. now there are two of the same reason. 

New user added a reason typed out as a whole sentence before realising they needed to be categories of reasons

Now there are 10 or more reasons and it requires scrolling through to find the one we want each time.

  Hi Merryll-Anne,

  Reasons stay in the list as long as they're applied to at least one article, so to clear one out: turn Blind Mode off, set the filter to All Articles, select the reason under Exclusion Reasons in the Filters panel, then use Multi-Select to deselect it from all matching articles. Once no article carries it, it drops off the list automatically.

  For the typo case: simply reapply the correct reason and remove the incorrect one the same way, this keeps your list clean going forward.
