mistakenly bulk excluded articles

I accidentally applied a bulk Exclude decision to 3,010 references in a collaborative review. The Rayyan customizations_log clearly identifies the accidental action: 3,010 included = -1 decisions were created between 2026-08-28 07:54:16.554 UTC and 07:54:20.726 UTC. These references had not previously been screened by me. I need to restore only these 3,010 references to an unscreened/ Maybe state without affecting my earlier legitimate screening decisions. I have the customizations_log and the exact list of affected Rayyan article IDs. Could you please help urgently revert this bulk action or advise how to bulk-select these exact article IDs?

  Hi Bridget,

  Thank you for the detailed breakdown, and sorry for the trouble this has caused.

  Currently, there's no way to revert a bulk decision once it's been applied. What we'd recommend instead: since you have the exact list of affected article IDs, you can select those 3,010 references and assign them all a Maybe decision. To keep them clearly identifiable going forward, you can also add a unique label, for example "Undecided yet", to mark them apart from your other screening decisions.
