This function is really needed. Lack of it made me and my colleagues search for alternative platform with this capacity. Please fix it.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to import decisions to Rayyan at the moment.

When you export your work from Rayyan in CSV format, Rayyan-specific information (decisions, labels, exclusion reasons and notes) will be appended to the notes field of each record in the exported file. When importing that exported file again to Rayyan, Rayyan will not parse the notes field and apply the customizations on the imported records. The review will contains all of the data, but the customizations will only reside in the notes field.

We might add this feature in future versions.

Any update on this function? I would like to do some update on my search result but worry that I would affect my original data. Being able to export my previous search as a backup would give me a peace of mind.

As a safety measure, I regularly export the review I am working in for backup. Naturally, I expect that if anything happens, I just need to import mentioned backup and everything would be working as before (minus, perhaps, the attached PDF files, which is understandable).

However, as mentioned by Hadeel Faisal above "Rayyan-specific information (decisions, labels, exclusion reasons and notes) will be appended to the notes field".

In other words, should I for any reason loose my work in Rayyan and import it from a backup, I would have to start the whole process of inclusion/exclusion all over again. Now that's scary…

    Can we expect a fix?
