How can I publish my Systematic Review to make it public?

Sharing your systematic review publicly can help others learn from your findings and advance knowledge in your field. In this article, we will explain the steps you need to follow to make your review public and the benefits of doing so.

1. Check for Copyrighted Text

Before making your review public, it's crucial to ensure that there is no copyrighted text attached to it. Including copyrighted text in a public review would violate copyright laws. To check for copyrighted text, simply scan your review for any text that you did not create yourself or that is not open access. If you find any, remove it before moving on to the next step and if you are unsure it is better to remove them.

2. Marking it Public

Once you've confirmed that your review is free of copyrighted text, you can reach out to our support team at support@rayyan.ai and inform them that you want to make your review public. Our team will then mark your review as public and confirm that it's ready for others to view.

3. Maintaining Control 

Even though your review is now public, It's important to note that you still technically maintain control over it. This means that you should be sure to keep an eye on any collaborators who may have access to your review as they could make changes or you can revoke their access.

4. Accessing Public Reviews

Public reviews are accessible via their original URLs. You can simply cut and paste the URL of your review in this format: https://rayyan.ai/reviews/###### (Replacing the ###### with the review number). You can cite your review in your manuscripts to make it easy for others to find the data you used to produce your research for more transparent, open science and open data. You can also open the Other Reviews or Public Reviews tab to locate all of the public reviews currently available.
